To assist you through these times and to help get you back into the workforce, CMS and TAL have partnered together to offer you a new bespoke Career Coaching Service. Giving you the extra support throughout this period, we would like to offer you three one-hour coaching sessions to assist with your job search and making the most of opportunities in this market. No matter how daunting it may seem, your personal Career Coach will support you with the practical know-how to navigate yourself through the process.

If your job has been impacted as a result of the current pandemic, we have you covered. While you may be experiencing uncertainty about your career, the job market or recruitment process, we’re ready to provide you with the tools and resources you need to approach your job search with confidence.

Not only can we work together to explore potential avenues within the market and provide you with the power to succeed, we have designed various resources that will enable you to effectively continue your job search. We want you to feel supported and knowledgeable throughout the recruitment process, and these materials will help you to mentally and physically prepare.

Your Three Career Coaching Sessions.

At CMS, we’re all about finding ways to optimise your career, lifestyle and mental health. By having a greater understanding and preparing for the job seeking process, we want to help by taking the hard work out of securing a role so you can have greater confidence and certainty in the current environment, and be able to spend more time on other aspects of your life that also matter. Let’s take a look at what each session will cover.

Session One.

We understand that every situation is different, that is why our service takes a personalised approach to your needs. Our Career Coaches are used to dealing with career change, career transition and understand with that sometimes with all this uncertainty you may be feeling a little lost with your career and unsure of what to do next. During this session we will work with you to develop a better understanding of your situation, your skills experience and expertise to help you identify where you will be valued in the marketplace and what the best option will be for you going forward. By reviewing your transferrable skills and experience, we can help guide you in the right direction to secure an opportunity that is right for you.

Session Two.

Writing a CV can be tricky, to understand what the next potential employer is looking for and to clearly articulate the skills, experience, and expertise that you will bring to that role. For you to put your best foot forward, we will review your current CV and discuss recommendations on how to fast-track the recruitment process and impress the recruiter. Your CV is your personal brand that enables you to showcase your strengths, skills and experience to stand out from the crowd, and to get you shortlisted for interview!

Session Three.

Securing your first interview is an important milestone throughout the process – the perfect opportunity to make a lasting impression. We know exactly what qualities and attributes can give you the competitive edge to ace your interview; whether that be over the phone, video or in-person. Your interview tips will be targeted towards your current and desired profession, so you can feel even more confident about how to approach the questions, better prepared and impress with your expertise.
